La Clusaz cardigan

La Clusaz is a light and flirty cardigan designed to welcome the warm weather. It has short sleeves, lace pannels and is worked in the softest warm weather yarn possible, in a manageable sport weight! What more could you ask for a simple summer knit?

For this project, I used my stash of Knitpicks Shine Sport, in color Wallaby. I really loved working with this yarn, it is both extremely soft and has a beautiful shine which gives it just a little bit of a chic tone.

I actually started this particular design over a year ago, but was never satisified with it or with the yarn I used for it. When I dug out this yarn from one of my boxes, I tried it out and was so pleased to finally find the right match for my idea that I rushed into knitting it. Off course, there were a few bumps along the way, but in the end I think I am quite pleased with my design and I love the results! It was both extremely satisfying to finally get to produce this design and even more so to do it using a yarn that was lingering in my stash for too long.

The pattern is now available from my Ravelry store and my Craftsy store, and soon from Knitpicks also!

I really hope you will love this one: it makes such a fast and pretty knit!
